On this day many of our staff will be attending an important training event arranged by the Clinical Commissioning Group.
There will be a reduced number of appointments available on the day.
The practice will open as usual at 8:30am the following day.
If you require urgent medical assistance or are ringing for advice about an illness, please dial 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

Milestone Surgery is pleased to announce the launch of our new Urgent Care Team.
An ever expanding workforce and limited space in our building has led us to explore innovative ways of delivering high quality healthcare. Together with our future planned merger with Southwood Surgery on 1st April 2019, this has prompted us to consider a new model of care, to work at scale and deliver a more efficient service to our patients.
We have carefully planned to separate our urgent demand from routine appointments by setting up an Urgent Care Service.
From 5th November 2018, patients who need to be seen on the day will be given an appointment with a member of our Urgent Care Team. The team will consist of the following Health Care Professionals:
Our reception team have been trained to ask you for the reason for your appointment, so a reason must be given for all on the day appointment requests. This is to ensure that you are dealt with by the most appropriate Health Care Professional. If you cannot provide a reason you will be booked into a routine appointment, but this may not be on the same working day. For your peace of mind, our reception team all undertake annual confidentiality training.
Patients who would like to book a routine (up to 4 weeks in advance) appointment with their own GP will still be able to do so.
We are constantly striving to offer our patients a better service and appreciate your cooperation whilst we make these changes to our appointment system.

Our consulting rooms are mainly located on the ground floor, with easy wheelchair access, with one consulting room located upstairs.
The foyer has two toilets (one for the disabled). A nappy changing area is also provided in one of the toilets.
Please note that no animals are allowed in the surgery. Only assistance animals for the disabled are allowed.
Parking for the surgery is limited, for staff, disabled and infirm patients. There is ample parking in the Kingsmead multi-storey car park on the other side of The Farnborough Road (A325). The entrance to the car park is on the Kingsmead road which runs in front of Sainsbury's. Alternatively, there is some parking next to the shops on the Farnborough Road as you approach Milestone Surgery.
